The article is devoted to the study of lexical and syntactic features of translation of scientific and technical texts from German into Ukrainian. The relevance of scientific research is driven by the growing need for high-quality translation of scientific and technical texts in the modern world, where information that is rapidly spreading between different countries must be accurate and understandable. In the context of globalization, the translation of scientific and technical literature plays an important role in ensuring effective communication between specialists from different countries. Given the complexity of the German language and its syntactic features, translation into Ukrainian requires special attention to detail, which makes the topic of this article important for translation professionals. The purpose of the article is to identify and analyze the lexical and syntactic features of translation of scientific and technical texts from German into Ukrainian. The article examines how specific language structures and terminology can affect translation. The article deals with the key aspects of lexical and syntactic adaptation of scientific and technical texts in the process of translation from German into Ukrainian, analyzes the peculiarities of reproduction of terminology in Ukrainian, complex sentences, condensation of information and word order in German texts of scientific and technical orientation. Particular attention is paid to the problems of reproducing specialized terms that may have several possible equivalents in Ukrainian or require calculation. We also consider cases when complex subordinate clauses are divided into simple ones to improve the perception of the Ukrainian-speaking recipient. The article emphasizes the importance of maintaining accuracy and meaningfulness in translation, as well as adapting the text for easy perception by the Ukrainian audience.
