This article focuses on examining the current stage and development prospects of corpus methodology in translation studies as one of the key vectors of contemporary translation science. Methodological innovations in the field are considered, primarily the transformation from descriptive strategies to conceptual and practice-oriented methodologies, reflecting evolutionary changes in corpus translation studies in recent years. Priority attention is concentrated on researching innovative analytical constructions for corpus-based translation investigations, formed on the foundation of House's translation quality assessment model and Berman's conceptual principles of deformational processes in translated texts. The problematic nature of lacking a unified methodological platform is analyzed, which causes diversity in interpreting identical data and undermines the objective and scientific character of the approach. The significance of corpus analytical apparatus in translation pedagogy is revealed, particularly the application of data-oriented learning and corpus analysis for optimizing educational processes. The need for combining linguistic achievements with extralinguistic factors to overcome excessive focus on individual texts and translation universals is substantiated. The applied value of the research lies in defining recommendations for expanding the scope of corpus-based translation studies through applying multidisciplinary strategies and uniting various corpus types. The effectiveness of the research can find application in modernizing educational programs in translation studies, forming new corpus analysis methodologies, and creating innovative pedagogical tools. Further research perspectives encompass developing standardized corpus-analytical methodologies, forming specialized corpora for different translation types, and implementing artificial intelligence in corpus investigations.
