The article is devoted to the study of complex constructions with homogeneous subordination (CHS) which contain the repetition of contract connecting means. It was found out the ways in which the peculiarities of the syntactic structure of constructions and their stylistic capabilities are related to the repetition of conjunctions (connecting words).
Constructions with homogeneous subordination with repeated subordinating conjunctions are characterized according to the following factors: 1) number of homogeneous subordinate clauses; 2) the presence and number of coordinating conjunctions in the block of subordinate components; 3) stylistic labeling of the syntactic unit; 4) constructive qualities of conjunctions (connecting words); 5) the placement order of parts and components; 6) mandatory / optional presence of subordinating conjunctions.
The mechanism of selection of construction types proposed based on: 1) quantity of conjunctive connectors in the block of homogeneous subcontractors; 2) the place of the contract component, at which the repetition of binders is absent.
It has been proven that in large constructions (with five or more subordinate clauses) subordinating conjunctions can be repeated or synonymous linking means can be used. At the same time, they usually preserve their expressive capabilities. Regularities of the order of placement of parts and components, the principles of mandatory / optional presence of conjunctions are largely consistent with the trends inherent in the CHS in general.
Clarity, unambiguity, transparency of reproducible situations allows CHS with repeated subordinating conjunctions or linking words to function actively not only in different genres of artistic style, but also in scientific texts.
