THE INNOVATION OF ANTONY SLONIMSKY'S SCIENCE FICTION WORKS

Abstract

The article addresses the problem posed by the fact that the study of Antony Slonimskyi's literary prose and journalistic texts allows us to reveal important features of the artist's individual style, which is characterized by a combination of traditional and innovative, including the active interaction of literary genres and various types of art - music, painting and literature.

Studying the peculiarities of the language picture of the writer's world in the context of the tradition of Polish literature and the new trends of European culture at the beginning of the 20th century made it possible to establish the conditions and peculiarities of the formation of the artist's genre system and to trace the dynamics of its development, to find out the sources of the literary-historical and philosophical-aesthetic foundations of Antony Slonimskyi's work.

The analysis of the creative heritage of the writer showed the deep meaning, lyricism, sincerity and perfection of the verbal form of Antony Slonimskyi's artistic prose and journalistic texts, revealed individual creative features of perception and representation of the world in the artist's works of various genres.

Highly appreciating the multi-genre work of the artist, it is worth noting that Slonimsky commented on cultural and political events in Poland in his journalism. He defended humanitarian values ​​in prose and poetry. In his late lyrics, he raised the issue of moral choice, the struggle for human rights, and the artist's responsibility in the modern world.
